What is time?
Time is what brings about the tranquil whisper of a serene zephyr as it wafts through my ears.
Time is what keeps the thunderous applause of leaves rustling in the wind very much alive.
What is time?
Time is what causes the icy cold water of a sinuous river to make me tremble.
Time is what permits the grass to tickle my feet as I dash through an open meadow.
During times of hardship and frustration, we wish time would come to a STOP.

Then we remember how beautiful the world really is, and we learn to appreciate time once again.
What is time?
Time is what allows us to scrutinize the world’s true splendor, as zephyrs waft through our ears, leaves rustle in the wind, icy cold water makes us shiver, and grass tickles our feet.
Admit it. We all love being lost in time.

Lately, I've been taking a lot of interest in sensory detail. It really does fascinate me. It isn't much, but I did indeed use some sensory detail in this deviation. The main point I'm trying to get across here is how time can be the main indredient for the true gorgeousness of nature and Earth's true beauty, and how we, as humans, sometimes forget to appreciate what a beautiful world we live in.
This is for a title contest with the obvious title of, "Lost In Time"... The contest is indeed being held by =writingclub If I'm not utterly mistaken, it's their first contest. Correct me if I'm wrong!  |
